Hello,
I've been practicing my casting, and while it's not very good, I figured I'd try out actually fishing today. It worked! I caught a tiny yellow perch in the first 30 minutes, and about an hour later I caught a big crappie! I was so excited.
Honestly though, I didn't realize the fish was biting. It wasn't until I started to pull some line in or got ready to cast again that I noticed. Is there a reason I couldn't really feel this at all or is this just how fly fishing is?
